Additional Information: Show/Hide Special Education Teacher - Positive Behavior Supports:Goddard Public Schools Special Education Cooperative is seeking a World Class School Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates interested in working in a collaborative and innovative environment with opportunities to develop their professional skills are encouraged to apply. School Social Worker duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate the development and implementation of students' Individual Education Program (IEP).
Serves as a member of the multidisciplinary team, the special education evaluation process, and attends special education meetings in support of student needs.
Design and teach timely and accurate content and instructional activities that are aligned with the prescribed district curriculum and instructional practices.
Utilize district and building-based initiatives when planning classroom instruction
Plan and implement effective lessons based on the student IEPs, using time, materials, and resources effectively.
Maintain student records, including but not limited to attendance, grades, and progress reports
Efficiently use instructional time to ensure students are engaged
Implement a variety of instruction methods to address the varied learning characteristics of the students
