Manufacturing Engineer at Flowserve

We are seeking an innovative and meticulous Manufacturing Engineer to optimize our production processes and ensure the highest quality products are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills, an ability to communicate across all levels, sound project management skills and a commitment to continuous improvement methodologies.


Responsibilities & Requirements:

Tasks:

Process design and optimization: Developing the most efficient methods for converting raw materials into finished products, including assembly line planning and calculating labor times.

Equipment and automation: Selection, design and implementation of machines and robotic systems for production.

Quality and cost control: Implementation of procedures and systems to ensure high product quality while reducing costs.

Collaboration and training: Collaborate with Engineering, production teams, and other departments to share ideas and train employees in new and existing processes.

Logistics and Supply Chain: Understanding the broader aspects of the value chain, from initial design to final delivery.

Continuous improvement: Monitoring and maintaining manufacturing systems to achieve continuous improvement.

Preferred Education and Experience:

- Completed degree (university, university of applied sciences) in engineering.
- Ability to collaborate across functions
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
- Commercially and financially aware.
- Background in manufacturing and/or engineering environment.
- Background in project management.
- Knowledge of ERP system, preferred SAP including production modules.
