KU Children’s Services (KU) is excited to announce an expansion to the services and programs we offer for children and families in the Sutherland Shire community. Building on the success of our new community-based Kindergarten, we are looking to continue to roll out our Early Childhood Intervention programs and services to the local community.

About Us

KU’s Early Childhood Intervention and Allied Health teams are an integral part of KU’s commitment to delivering high quality early childhood education and support programs.

We are a registered NDIS Provider and are currently expanding our existing teams. We are looking for passionate and qualified early intervention professionals to join us in making a difference in the lives of young children and their families.

The Setting

Our Shire service, co-located at KU Sutherland Preschool and Family Centre offers a welcoming environment for therapy and early intervention. You’ll work alongside our dynamic and nurturing local team.

About You

Start your career with confidence through KU’s supportive and structured graduate program. You’ll be guided by experienced professionals and surrounded by a team that’s passionate about making a difference.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist who is committed to helping make a difference in the lives of young Australians. Ideal candidates will have

  • A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Working with children Check 
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in paediatric therapy and early childhood intervention
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A proactive and compassionate approach to care
  • Current drivers’ license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain
