Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead a high-performing team at Polaris’ global distribution center for Parts, Garments, and Accessories (PGA). This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence by overseeing daily activities, managing special projects, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently exceeded. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong teams and efficient processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AS400, SolidWorks, RF/barcoding technology, and automated sortation/material handling systems.
Proven ability to lead organizational change and sustain measurable improvements.
Strong understanding of OSHA standards and a track record of exceeding safety benchmarks.
Demonstrated success in communicating complex ideas across diverse teams and levels.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in management.
3–5+ years of experience in large-scale automated distribution or manufacturing operations.
Strong problem-solving skills with a history of implementing sustainable, metric-driven solutions.
Experience managing departmental budgets and supervising staff in alignment with company policies.
Position Overview
The Operations Supervisor will oversee departmental operations and special projects to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with daily order response goals. This includes evaluating and improving processes, managing budgets related to labor, packaging, and maintenance, and preparing performance reports. The role involves staff scheduling, training, and development, as well as conducting interviews and performance reviews. The supervisor will also collaborate with Human Resources and temporary staffing agencies to maintain optimal staffing levels.
This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance multiple demands, resolve operational challenges, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The working environment includes both office and distribution settings, with occasional lifting of materials up to 40 pounds. Equipment operation will require specialized training per Polaris standards.
