Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The role of a Plant Maintenance Coordinator is to direct and coordinate the Curative and Preventive Maintenance for all equipment and facilities, (i.e planning, realisation, sub-contracting follow-up, restart, validation), in order to ensure optimum capital utilization. The main missions of the role are to:
- Coordinate and manage the maintenance team
- Ensure the continuous development and coaching of maintenance technicians and engineers
- Direct and coordinate both repair and preventive maintenance requirements for all manufacturing equipment
- Ensure proper implementation Equipment Care Procedure, Maintenance KPI
- Be part of the procurement of new equipment to assure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety & Environmental and requirements are met
- Ensure proper implementation 7MR in his area of responsability
- To be active and colaborate with Maintenance Network (inside Division, Business Group)
- Contribute, in liaison with the Manufacturing Engineering Department, to define technical specifications for new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities
- Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for all facilities
- Support the development of target Material & Information Flow Analysis (MIFA) and plant layout
- Develop capital budget requirements to adhere to established facilities standards
- Define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening: subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy, security systems
- Manage the spare parts and consumables warehouse
Your profile and competencies to succeed
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Master's degree in engineering, with a specialisation in mechanics and/or automation
- At least 10 years of maintenance/engineering experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety & Environment skills
- Computer knowledge and skills
- Innovation and change management skills
- Strong people management skills, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with associates at all levels and build a network in a matrix organisation
- Minimum bi-lingual (English desirable)
