Job Description
- Facilities is a service department that is focused on providing the adequate equipment, systems, building, services, projects, and construction, to support the correct operation of the plant in a comprehensive way. The role implies close collaboration and communication with all related departments, customers and partners from LEGO Operaciones de Mexico and global teams in a matrix environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, execution and control of all maintenance activities, budget control and expenses according to the asset management system.
- Oversees staff install, inspects, repairs, and maintains building systems, HVAC, compressed air, safety and others.
- Develop our Leaders and People based on Grow to Lead principles and other LEGO applicable concepts.
- Develop Personnel in terms on individual accountability, generate engaged employees with the company wanting to go above and beyond, to have proficient employees on each position, provide opportunities to develop their abilities, learn new skills, acquire new knowledge, exposure to outstanding principles, and realize their potential.
- Constantly improving People Pulse.
- Responsible for facilities services requests and ensures all requests are completed within established timelines and quality standards.
- Analyze local regulation compliance for current and future growth operations related to the mechanical systems.
- Structured and great teammate with focus on development, well-being, success, motivation and efficiency.
- Proactive approach to key partner management both internally/externally.
- Collaborate closely across the globe with the internal facility community and external facility service partners to ensure sharing of standard processes and driving consistency.
- Develops the work strategy passionate about planning, continuous improvement, productivity and efficiency
- Ensure smooth operation, applications of guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Make sure to all company policies and all safety, governance rules and programs.
- Proactive and service minded approach to problem solving.
Are you up for the challenge?
- Maintenance and Installation experience in HVAC systems, Compressed air systems, water treatment plants, RO (Reverse Osmosis)
- Experience leading teams from 8-10 employees.
- Understanding of manufacturing facilities requirements by: NOM-001 / NOM-002 / NOM-0020 / NOM-022-STPS / NOM-029
- Experience dealing with clients and suppliers
- Experience in high and low voltage systems
- Experience in project design development, execution and monitoring of work, interpretation of drawings, diagrams, construction drawings, as built, project presentation, etc.
- Experience in the development of processes and procedures.
