The Team

The SFE/CRM & Insights Manager plays a critical role in driving commercial excellence by ensuring the efficient use of CRM systems, data management, and business insights. This role is responsible for enhancing sales performance, optimizing customer engagement strategies, and ensuring data-driven decision-making.

The SFE & CRM Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective sales planning tools, performance tracking, and process improvements that support the Commercial Function in achieving its strategic business objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

The SFE/CRM & Insights Manager will be responsible for Sales Force Effectiveness & Performance Management, Business Insights & Sales Data Management, CRM Management & Data Quality, Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management. Responsibilities include:

  • Govern Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE): Oversee all SFE metrics, processes, systems, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

  • Drive Sales Performance: Manage sales planning and performance, ensuring alignment with business priorities and sales targets.

  • Optimize SFE: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize resource allocation and sales impact.

  • Ensure Global-Local Alignment: Partner with the Global Commercial Team to align the SFE vision, roadmap, and implementation of global customer engagement frameworks.

  • Provide Business Insights: Create visibility of sales performance and market insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Deliver Data-Driven Recommendations: Provide recommendations based on data and analytics to business leaders to identify sales-driving opportunities.

  • Manage CRM System & Data: Oversee CRM-related tasks such as territory alignment and ensure correct and efficient use of the CRM system by field teams.

  • Ensure Data Quality & Compliance: Maintain data quality of local CRM data sets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Deliver Training: Provide training sessions on CRM usage to field-based and office colleagues.

  • Facilitate Cross-functional Strategy: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical, and IT to ensure CRM and SFE tools support the overall business strategy and manage the budget for these initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • Data analyst experience (preferred: experience with IQVIA data sets)

  • Previous Strategy Consultant experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or relevant highly regulated industry

  • Experience in a Salesforce Effectiveness / Customer Relationship Management position, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry would be advantageous

  • Experience with the development and maintenance of any CRM platform (preferred: Salesforce or Veeva)

  • Power user experience in a data analytics, business insight and/or data visualization platform (e.g. PowerBI)

  • Experience conducting joint field visits with Sales Representatives to gain firsthand understanding of sales challenges and commercial execution

  • Skilled in all forms of communication (e.g. oral, written, presentations) that supports the ability to build credible relationships with internal stakeholders and across all levels of the organization.

  • Attention to detail, and organizational skills to manage the complexity and demands of the business.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • C1/native in German; fluent written and spoken English
