General Description of the Role
The Regional Demand Planning and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) Manager leads the demand forecasting and S&OP processes across APAC. This role is pivotal in aligning cross-functional teams, driving forecast accuracy, and ensuring supply chain agility to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities and activities
- Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models, market intelligence, and historical data.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
- Monitor forecast performance and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.
- S&OP Leadership
- Lead the regional S&OP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans.
- Facilitate regional monthly S&OP meetings with key stakeholders to review performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive consensus on demand plans and ensure timely communication of changes across the organization.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Provide insights and analytics to support decision-making and scenario planning.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track forecast accuracy.
- Process Improvement
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance forecasting and S&OP maturity.
- Champion digital tools and automation to streamline planning processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the regional S&OP point of contact for global supply chain initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
Summary of Experience
- 10+ years of proven Demand Planning , S&OP , Supply Chain Planning management
- International Demand Planning management across multi-countries within a wide matrix organization and a diverse cross –cultural context
- Solid experience as a Senior Project Manager managing multiple projects from business case through approval and a track-record of delivering excellent results to deadlines
- Must have a solid appreciation and understanding of corporate and commercial strategies to compliment
Education / Professional Qualifications
- Masters degree with a major in Supply Chain / Planning management
- Certification in Project Management highly desirable
- APICs certification well regarded
