Your responsibilities
- Support the engineering team in designing solar PV systems (preliminary, permitting, execution, and as-built phases)
- Assist in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, and technical documentation
- Perform basic technical calculations (energy yield, cable sizing, inverter selection, shading checks)
- Conduct research on standards, grid requirements, and new solar technologies
- Support preparation of tenders, BoQs, and technical specifications
- Help review supplier offers and compare technical data sheets
- Maintain engineering databases and update project documentation
- Assist with on-site measurements, surveys, or construction follow-ups (if required)
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, procurement, construction) to support project progress
- Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries for internal stakeholders
Your profile
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of solar PV system components (modules, inverters, mounting, cables)
- Familiarity with PV design tools (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Pvcase, or similar) is a plus
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and SLDs
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work independently and deliver tasks on time
- Strong communication skills in English; German is an advantage but not mandatory
- Interest in renewable energy, engineering standards, and grid-connected PV systems
