Property Technician (f/m/d) at Digital Realty Trust, L.P.

Your Role

As a Property Technician (f/m/d), you will ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of the non-technical areas within our data center facilities. Your responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, performing minor repairs, and coordinating external vendors for specialized maintenance. A strong focus of your role will be on plumbing and water installation systems, alongside broader facility support.

Key tasks include performing routine maintenance such as painting and plumbing repairs, monitoring waste disposal in compliance with environmental standards, and coordinating maintenance of doors, gates, elevators, and fire protection systems. You will also supervise third-party cleaning staff, assist with equipment setups, and act as the first point of contact for suppliers—ensuring all work is carried out according to contracts, safety protocols, and company policies.

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in plumbing, gas and water installation, or sanitary engineering
• Several years of professional experience in facility services, building maintenance, or technical operations
• Solid knowledge in maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and water installations
• Basic familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems is an advantage
• Good command of both German and English (spoken and written)
• Reliable, structured, and hands-on working style with a focus on practical solutions
