YOUR TASKS

You will support predevelopment in the field of mechanical joining techniques for the automotive industry and gain insights into innovative processes for cost optimization and electrification.

  • Analysis of joining methods: You will examine mechanical joining techniques and their impact on process reliability.
  • Development of guidelines: Part of your tasks is to create design guidelines for selected joining techniques.
  • Material analysis: You will evaluate metallic materials and tools regarding their suitability.
  • Connection profiling: The focus is on analyzing connections using destructive and non-destructive testing methods.
  • Cost optimization: You will learn how innovative joining techniques can help reduce costs.
  • Team collaboration: You will contribute to cross-departmental coordination and technical discussions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrollment: You are enrolled at a university during your time at FORVIA HELLA and have not yet started or completed your final mandatory exam.
  • Field of study: You study mechanical engineering, forming technology, materials science, physics, chemistry, or a comparable field.
  • IT skills: You have basic MS Office skills and can work confidently with email and documents.
  • Material knowledge: Ideally, you have knowledge of metallic materials and processes.
  • Analytical skills: You are interested in investigating joining methods and process reliability.
  • Soft skills: Enthusiasm, team spirit, and independent working complete your profile.
