Operations Manager – Erskine Park NSW


Toll Group is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at the Erskine Park Woolworths site. This exciting role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery of services across our transport operations, with a key focus on Safety, Service, and Financial Performance.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing your team to achieve KPIs, foster customer relationships, and implement business-specific strategies. You’ll work closely with leadership to drive operational improvements, ensure budget targets are met, and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance across all site activities. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, you will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities / a day in the life of the Operations Manager:
•    Lead and manage the operation to meet priorities, budgets, and goals.
•    Optimise resources and capability to deliver operational excellence.
•    Foster a customer-first mindset while improving service efficiency.
•    Develop, implement, and review performance measures (KPIs) to drive profitability.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with Woolworths Transport Managers and teams.
•    Ensure on-time delivery (99.5%+) and manage fleet maintenance effectively.
•    Lead and mentor your team, including succession planning for future growth.
•    Drive innovation to improve productivity and customer service within the transport operations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
•    Proven experience in transport operations and supply chain management.
•    Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
•    In-depth knowledge of HSE policies and legislative requirements.
•    Ability to manage and implement KPIs to improve operational performance.
•    Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills with a customer-focused approach.
•    Ability to think strategically, innovate, and develop business solutions.
•    Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
