The Role
This Lead Mobile Equipment Engineer is responsible for driving asset reliability, performance analytics, and maintenance best practices across DNAP. The role defines the capital portfolio in alignment with the Strategic Asset Management Plan to sustain DNAP assets and provide leadership to ensure Reliability functions focus on the right priorities for long-term asset performance and efficiency.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Lead implementation and auditing of engineering & reliability standards
• Act as the single point of contact for Asset Management, collaborating with key stakeholders
• Provide expert support in reliability analytics, FMEA, and asset performance
• Lead development and improvement of the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP)
• Support lifecycle costing, asset risk management, and investment prioritisation
• Travel to sites within the Asia Pacific region on a “as needed” basis
What you’ll bring
Ideally you will have proven experience in an operational role within heavy industry mobile equipment or in a manufacturing plant, preferably within Ammonium Nitrates and/or Emulsion manufacturing. Other desirable skills and experience include:
• You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
• Demonstrated capability in leading & driving sustainable transformational change through effective leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or structural engineering
• Professional Engineer status or able to obtain status (RPEQ/CPEng)
• Competency in the use of ISOgraph application availability warehouse (Preferred)
• Tertiary education in data analytics (preferred)
• IAM certificate or Diploma in Asset Management
• Experience in application of advanced data analytics to identify and resolve complex issues
