The Opportunity

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has an exciting opportunity for an Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team based at Barrow Island, WA.

Working in the Barrow Island workshop, you will perform electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles and machinery that support the Oil & Gas site. This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:2 roster, day shift only, offering excellent work-life balance.

About You

• Australian Recognised Auto Electrician Trade Qualification
• Current WA “C” Class Driver Licence and White Card
• CPR & LVR certification (within the last 12 months)
• Experience with light vehicles and fleet maintenance, ideally in a remote or FIFO environment
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive electrical systems to high safety and quality standards
• Safety-focused mindset and commitment to Downer’s Zero Harm culture
