Position Duties

- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's in anthropology or archaeology; OR,
- Bachelor's in either of the above AND Master's in sociology, biological sciences, forensic sciences, genetics or paleontology; OR,
- The equivalent

All candidates must demonstrate
Evidence of a sensitivity, understanding, and ability to manage the classroom environment AND effectively provide instruction to community college students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
- Recent community college or lower division teaching experience.
- Experience or expertise teaching in physical anthropology lecture and laboratory settings.
- Ability and willingness to teach in-person at both LAC and TTC.
