Insulation Metal Mechanic at Tradesmen International, Inc.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Insulation Metal Mechanics for projects located in Morris, IL.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $23-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:         

• Perform pipe insulation and related mechanical insulation tasks
• Fabricate and install metal jacketing to protect insulated piping systems
• Maintain safety and quality standards while working in industrial environments
• Fabricate, cut, and fit metal jacketing or sheeting (usually aluminum or stainless steel) over insulated surfaces for protection and appearance

• Measure and cut materials using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment

   

• Read and interpret blueprints and insulation specifications to determine material requirements and installation methods

• NIA, NCCER, or MBCI certification not required but preferred
