Position Summary: 

The Senior Physician Recruitment & Engagement Specialist plays a key role in expanding and maintaining MDpanels physician network
while ensuring fulfillment of independent medical examinations and medical record reviews for key clients in the Midwest region. This individual will identify, engage, and onboard physicians while ensuring compliance with client-specific credentialing standards and operational requirements.  This role requires a combination of rapport-building, relationship management, fee negotiation, and administrative precision to support our clients and physicians in the IME process. 
 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Source, recruit, and onboard physicians to support IME coverage needs across multiple specialties 
  • Establish and negotiate physician pricing in alignment with company margin goals and client requirements. 
  • Collaborate closely with scheduling and quality assurance teams
    to ensure physicians’ assignments meet turnaround time, distance-to-exam, report quality, and margin goals.
     
  • Monitor deadlines for and facilitate completion of contracts, credential forms, and documentation to ensure compliance and readiness. 
  • Serve as a main point of contact for physicians and clients during the onboarding and scheduling process.  
  • Communicate rules, regulations, and expectations to ensure high-quality and compliant evaluations. 
  • Promote education and ongoing training to physicians to promote consistency and success. 

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:   

  • 5+ years of experience in physician engagement, provider relations, or healthcare operations. Experience in Independent Medical Examination industry and / or workers
    compensation (e.g., claims adjustment)
    highly valued.
     
  • Strong understanding of healthcare credentialing, contracting, and compliance processes.  
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strict deadlines. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client-and relationship-focused approach. 
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and data-driven decision making

The salary range for this position is provided as an estimate based on current market conditions and company benchmarks.
