About the Department
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health education, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field required from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 4 years recent related work experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to develop and provide promotional materials, workshops, and presentations on fitness, nutrition, and other wellness related topics.
- Must have the ability teach/present wellness classes in front of large or small groups.
- Demonstrated skill in the use of computer and office equipment required to perform position tasks.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written, demonstrating awareness for human diversity to citizens and colleagues.
- Must be able to quickly adapt to and learn new digital tools, software, and platforms.
