What Were Looking For: We are in growth mode and looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join us in supporting our dealership staff and customers while assisting us in building and representing our brand. With our new Michigan City Hyundai location set to open next year, we’re expanding our team and looking for talented individuals to join us!

The ideal candidate has excellent people skills, works effectively with customers, staff and management, and has the organizational skills needed to keep the department operating smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct, motivate and grow a team of sales professionals
  • Support and train individual salespeople, personally assist in closing sales
  • Oversee the sales process
  • Work with other departments to resolve customer issues
  • Manage the new vehicle inventory
  • Track and report sales
  • Work effectively with factory personnel

 

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years sales experience in high end dealership/2 years as Sales Manager
  • The skill and talent to train, motivate and coach salespeople to success
  • Commitment to treat customers and employees with respect and fairness
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong work ethic focused on business and personal growth
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on presentation and negotiation
  • The organizational skills needed to keep the department running smoothly
  • Proficient with CRM, Appraisal and DMS software programs
  • Valid/clean drivers license and background check
  • Willingness to work Saturdays and attend special events when needed
