Our Life Marketing Administration department seeks an executive secretary. This role is responsible for providing personalized administrative support to the senior vice president and their management team, as well as assist with daily department operations. This position requires skills in executive report preparation, task management and prioritization, internal and external customer relations, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications.
 

This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Many departments at our Headquarters offer hybrid work options, empowering associates to work from home one day a week. Depending on your role and responsibilities, hybrid option may be available.
 

Starting salary:

The pay range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000.00 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to:

  • prepare reports and documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • develop and deliver communications on behalf of the senior vice president

  • manage travel itineraries, calendars/appointments, direct report absence approvals and monthly expenses for the SVP and select CLIC leadership

  • plan and coordinate for periodic and special meetings as needed, to include Microsoft Teams Live events

  • assist in ensuring agency visits are attended by the appropriate life company representative(s)

  • accept, screen, and route telephone calls on SVP phone and monitor SVP email

  • handle all outgoing or incoming correspondence for Life Marketing Admin team

  • maintain situational awareness of events within the company and corporation and keep the SVP informed as needed

  • perform a variety of admin tasks for Life Marketing Admin team and CLIC, to include managing department office supplies and personalized material for SVP and select direct reports, submitting check requisitions when needed, managing the allocation of associate perks, and ordering flowers when appropriate

  • perform additional duties as directed; examples include acting as co-liaison to LIMRA/LOMA, acting as disaster recovery rep for Life Marketing Admin department, conducting clean desk audits, etc

Bring education or experience from:

  • proven experience as an executive secretary or similar administrative role preferred

  • required education: high school degree
