Provides direct executive level and general administrative and secretarial support services to Physician Health Care Service Leaders of Emergency Medicine, who have oversight of 100+ Faculty and Providers. The incumbent must have the ability to function with a high degree of confidentiality, to handle a variety of independent projects and assignments, and to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION:
Associate's degree in business, office management, or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Extensive training in transcription, word processing, and associated computer skills (e-mail systems, presentation/database/spreadsheet software). Excellent typing skills (70 wpm). Five years office experience to develop skills necessary to deal effectively with senior management.
WORK ARRANGEMENT:
This position requires 100% on-site presence in the office. Employee shuttle transportation to the UVM Medical Center is provided from a satellite parking lot.
