Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to the health needs of all residents in care, and may include out-patient clients.
- Provide an array of services, such as assessing injuries for treatment or referral, administering treatment, general physical exams and tests, including urine drug tests.
- Provide all documentation as required by state and federal law and state regulatory agencies.
- Accurately administer medications according to the prescribed quantity and timing.
- Provide services using all infection control measures.
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas.
- Maintain security of medications and patient records.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Experience with psychiatric nursing and/or pediatric nursing preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
