We are currently seeking an experienced HR technology and HR shared service lead with deep expertise in Workday and HR technology platforms to join our diverse and dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of HR technology solutions, with a strong focus on enhancing our shared service capabilities through Workday. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning HR systems with business needs and driving continuous improvement in HR technology and shared services.
What you will be experienced in and excited to own and lead:
Developing and executing an HR technology road map aligned with Axalta’s HR objectives and HR strategy, with a passion for HR lifecycle and human capital management, owning local HRIS budget and accountable for execution of same in line with budget.
Leading the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the Workday modules, ensuring seamless integration with other Workday modules and HR systems and additional T&A systems.
Partnering with the broader HR function, talent acquisition, total rewards, AskHR, payroll, and IT, and cross functional teams to identify and deliver technology solutions that streamline recruiting processes and improve the candidate experience.
Support daily and long-term tactical employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, processing of compensation changes, transfers/talent movement, mobility, time-off and leave, and other responsibilities related to employee administration. Answer questions (e.g. policy, process, transaction, etc.), address issues, and effectively manage escalations as it relates to these areas.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert providing guidance and direction to employees, HR Business Partners etc. on a wide variety of HR processes, policies and tools.
Manage 3rd party HRIS support partners and work through Service Level Agreements and prioritization planning
Providing strategic guidance and hands-on support for Workday modules, including system enhancements, reporting, and user training.
Monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and best practices in HR technology and sharing these with key HR stakeholders quarterly.
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
Proven experience leading Workday end to end implementations and optimizations, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and configuration.
At a minimum, five years of experience of optimizing the Workday platform to deliver business intelligence, key performance indicators, and system value optimization.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals, and the ability to develop plans and work to deadlines, focusing on reducing unnecessary process waste.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional projects and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working with global leaders and assisting them in data governance, data elements, report writing, and clear roles aligned to security system profiling.
Solid understanding of end-to-end HR processes.
Experience leading and managing teams and external vendors, working in collaboration with other Regional Leads and internal and external partners is required.
