Falmouth Public Schools is looking for a half-time Educational Technician III to provide support for our multilingual learners. The ideal candidate is culturally sensitive and eager to learn about other countries and cultures and has enthusiasm for and experience working with elementary age students. Strong collaboration and communication skills are required, as well as comfort with technology.
Falmouth Schools are located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. Qualifications:
Candidates must be eligible for the Maine Educational Technician Level III authorization (90 College Credits of approved study, fingerprinting) through the Maine Department of Education, as well as a district-run background check.
Experience teaching English to multilingual learners and/or possession of or eligibility for certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL, TEFL) is highly preferred.
Additional:
The hourly rate will be based on experience and the Ed Tech III pay scale ($24.54 - $30.85).
