Job Details
S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is seeking candidates to work with our Tax Group. As a Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist, you will join our team of talented tax professionals who assist clients with general bookkeeping and payroll services, including performing monthly account reconciliations and preparing financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly payroll tax payments
- Record tax forms and payments
- Utilize related payroll platforms to process client payroll ensuring timely client communication and documentation
- Work independently as well as within a team while prioritizing and working on multiple assignments at any given time
- This position is based out of our Wheeling, WV office and requires regular in-office work. A hybrid schedule may be considered after training is successfully completed (typically after 90 days)
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting (10+ years of related experience in lieu of degree)
- Minimum 4 years of related experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, Accounting CS, Sage)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
