We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team, with the skill to provide data and analysis that helps to explain and support the growth of our organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Prepares and updates the company’s annual budget and quarterly forecasts and makes comparative analyses
  • Supports the Controller and Chief Financial Officer in preparing financial reports and presentations
  • Develops key performance indicators and compares current progress to historical data
  • Prepares, reviews, and updates weekly/monthly progress reports such as cash flow forecasts, cost and revenue forecasting, and executive management summaries.
  • Coordinates with project teams to support and ensure accuracy of project forecasts
  • Facilitates and supports the continuous improvement of the financial systems and data
  • Analyzes and interprets financial data to advise and support strategic decision-making and achieve business objectives.
  • Supports and is a proponent for positive change.
  • Recognizes the importance of being a team player by adapting to department needs and helping in other areas as needed.
  • Fosters relationships with the operations team and show a willingness to learn about the work.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

(Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)


  • Bachelor’s degree—finance, accounting, economics
  • Proficient in Excel and Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with ability to work accurately and quickly.
  • Ability to effectively analyze problems and identify solutions.
  • Position requires daily in-person attendance at the workplace.

 

PREFERENCES

  • Those with exposure to construction would be strong candidates
  • Recommend 2+ years of industry experience
