The Regional Vice President of Health and Wellness provides leadership and clinical oversight across multiple senior living communities within an assigned region. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence in all health and wellness programs. The role supports community leadership in achieving quality outcomes, consistent standards, and strong resident satisfaction while aligning with company mission and goals. 

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties

· Provide leadership, direction, and clinical support to community Health and Wellness teams across the assigned region.

· Monitor and ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations, company policies, and clinical best practices within each community.

· Conduct routine site visits and audits to assess quality of care, staffing effectiveness, and resident satisfaction.

· Collaborate with community and corporate leadership to develop and implement quality improvement plans and clinical initiatives.

· Support clinical training, competency development, and ongoing education for Health and Wellness Directors and nursing staff.

· Review and analyze clinical data and reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

· Partner with operations and compliance teams to prepare for and respond to surveys, inspections, and investigations.

· Assist in the recruitment, mentoring, and development of clinical leaders throughout the region.

· Lead initiatives to improve health outcomes, reduce risk, and ensure high levels of resident and family satisfaction.

· Serve as a clinical liaison between communities and the Chief Clinical Officer, ensuring effective communication and consistency in care standards.

· Represent the organization in professional and industry events as requested.


Requirements

 Qualifications & Requirements

· Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required; multi-state licensure preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required; advanced degree preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-site capacity within senior living, long-term care, or a similar environment.

· Extensive travel required (approximately 60% or more).

· Comprehensive knowledge of state regulations governing senior living, assisted living, and memory care environments.

· Proven ability to develop, lead, and mentor high-performing clinical teams.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret data and influence operational outcomes.

· Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

· Demonstrated history of maintaining compliance and achieving strong clinical outcomes across multiple communities.

Physical Demands & Work Conditions

This position requires frequent regional travel to multiple senior living communities. The role may involve long periods of standing, walking, or travel by car and air. The Regional Vice President of Health and Wellness must be available for consultation or support during evenings and weekends as needed.
