Dr Delphinium, Dallas’ premier florist, is seeking dependable and customer-oriented Delivery Drivers to join our team! This role is vital to our mission of delivering joy — you’ll be responsible for safely transporting floral arrangements and gift items to residential and business locations across the DFW area.
We're looking for reliable individuals who take pride in providing world-class service in a professional, positive, and compassionate manner. As a Delivery Driver, you are the face of our brand — creating meaningful moments with every stop.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver floral arrangements and gifts to homes and businesses with accuracy and care.
- Provide exceptional guest service upon delivery; verify signatures and answer any delivery-related questions.
- Determine efficient delivery routes and meet all assigned “by” times.
- Follow all delivery instructions including property-specific directions (parking, entrances, etc.).
- Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or injuries to management.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (check fluids, tires, etc.); report maintenance needs.
- Keep assigned delivery vehicles clean, inside and out.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Support fellow team members as needed and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Ensure full compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Driver License (CDL not required).
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or DWIs; must meet insurance requirements.
- Previous experience driving cargo vans preferred (not required).
- Strong customer service skills; friendly, professional, and solution-focused.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working independently for extended periods.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Calm and tactful when handling difficult or time-sensitive situations.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends.
- Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
