Your new role 

The Americas & Global Solutions Director (MSP & Procurement Services) works collaboratively with Product and Solutions teams across Hays in the development and deployment of new/existing products, services, or touchpoints for the MSP and Procurement Services Service Lines. Provide customers with greater value, driving engagement and loyalty with the Hays brand. This will be executed through understanding of customer insights, definition of desired customer experience, development of a product development roadmap, and the creation of strategic service line partnerships. Subject matter expert in Outsourced Workforce Solutions and procurement services, supporting pre-sales and sales processes and leading the development of specific client solutions

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and deploy, both in the Americas and globally, new/existing products, services, or touchpoints for Enterprise Solutions Service Lines (with a focus on MSP and Procurement Services / Extended Workforce Solutions).
  • Gather customer feedback and use it to guide development so that products are always relevant to a changing market.
  • Prioritize the development of the product portfolio based on business value and investment available.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and technical teams to develop and launch new products.
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) for new opportunities in the relevant services lines, attending pitches, conferences and other events as relevant.
  • Lead the creation of a 'Community of Practice' for Enterprise Solutions (Outsourced Services), in which Solutions teams across the globe can come together regularly to share ideas, best practice, issues, solutions to problems and more.
  • Lead the Americas Solutions team in the definition and design of solutions proposals for new business in the Region, ensuring solutions meet and exceed client needs and are commercially and operationally viable for Hays. Coordinate client solution development for complex, multi-geography bids.
  • Define strategy for and lead development of service line partnerships, working with the Digital & Technology team.

Ways of Working

  • Be a key member of the Americas Enterprise Solutions team, as well as hold a global remit developing MSP products and client solutions across the globe.
  • Work closely with Growth and Commercial teams, as well as Client Directors and Operations teams within the wider Enterprise Solutions business.
  • This position has solid line management responsibility for a Product & Solutions Manager, as well as dotted line management responsibility for Solutions teams in other Hays Regions outside of the Americas.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive background in designing products and solutions ideally within MSP, talent solutions, or professional services.
  • Successful track record of leading teams in complex, multi-market environments
  • Demonstrated ability to define, design and deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and support business growth.
  • Strong understanding of data, technology and digital innovation, with the ability to ensure solutions are both commercially relevant and operationally and financially viable.
  • Proven experience in leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams, both directly and through dotted line management structures.
  • Technology literate and able to effectively understand and translate requirements, collaborating effectively cross-functionally to get things done
  • Works effectively within a team, values input from others, creates a compelling vision and brings others on a journey to consensus
  • Champions the customer in all decision-making and solution development activities.
  • Embraces curiosity, seeks out new ideas internally and externally, and is willing to challenge the status quo to deliver better outcomes.
