Job Title: Compliance and Energy Technician
Reports To: Compliance and Energy Director
Dept/Campus: Compliance and Energy
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt

District Primary Purpose: Maintain the District in compliance with Federal and State
regulations pertaining to fire and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
* High School Diploma GED or Higher
* Pesticide Applicator Certificate Valid Texas Driver’s License
* Comparable course work in the area of electronics, security, fire alarms and pest control.
Experience: Minimum of two years experience and knowledge in all basics of electronics and repairing related equipment.
Knowledge/Skills: Correct English skills, spelling, punctuation, and report writing techniques, data entry, filing systems, and records keeping principles and procedures.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Inspect district buildings for repairs and maintenance to meet federal and state compliance rules of safety and security alarms.
- Prioritize repair projects regarding security, fire alarms and intercom
- Develop a system for dealing with emergency repairs with

- Order materials as needed and maintain inventory
- Assist with inspections of fire extinguisher, intercom, fire alarms and report problems to
