Requirements / Qualifications

Must pass Paraprofessional exam before employment offer. To schedule exam, contact Emilia Lopez Mendoza at [email protected] or 707-890-3800 EXT 80610 If you have 48 college credit units or more, you are exempt from taking the Paraprofessional exam. Attach college transcripts to application. Post offer, pre-employment physical exam required. (POPP Physical) Desired: -Bilingual Spanish/English desired, not required. -Ability to work with students with various needs -Assist with instruction and activities in the classroom; help prepare classwork -Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students -Work with small groups of students as well as with students one-on-one -Ability to be flexible and adapt to varying classroom environments
