Special Education Autistic Support Teacher (Long-Term Substitute) at Lower Merion School District

Lower Merion School District is seeking a long-term substitute Special Education Autistic Support Teacher at Penn Valley Elementary School.

PA Certification in Special Education required.  Additional certification and/or Autism Endorsement highly preferred.

Experience supporting students with significant behavioral, academic, and functional needs related to Autism preferred.  Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students and experience working with students with various types of educational disabilities required.

3-5 years teaching experience preferred.  Good standing relative to Act 48 credits. Child abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date of hire).

Assignment will last from February until June 2026.  Salary and benefits set by LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
