About the role:

We are seeking a BD Sector Senior Manager, Private Capital to join our Business Development & Marketing (BDM) team! This is a pivotal role within our BDM function, supporting the delivery of our Clients & Sectors strategy and driving profitable revenue growth through proactive client engagement and cross-selling initiatives.

As BD Sector Senior Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with Sector Leaders, Relationship Partners, and product teams to execute a focused strategy aligned with firmwide priorities.
  • Build strong relationships across key asset classes and proactively drive cross-selling opportunities.
  • Analyse market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and support partners with compelling marketing collateral.
  • Horizon-scan sector trends and develop campaigns to generate opportunities and build the firm’s profile.
  • Leverage data-led insights for opportunity spotting and pipeline management.
  • Advise on commercial proposals and facilitate best practice sharing across sectors.

We are ideally looking for:

  • Experience in a global sector BD role within legal or professional services.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement BD strategies that drive cross-selling and revenue growth.
  • Strong industry knowledge of Private Capital, including sector trends and challenges.
  • Confidence navigating complex opportunities across asset classes, products, and offices.
  • A self-starter mindset, with a track record of building relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Understanding of law firm structure and culture is highly desirable.

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
