At Covenant Health Urgent Care, we’re proud to care for the Knoxville community by offering high-quality, compassionate healthcare that’s fast, friendly, and affordable. Our clinics are open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and feature onsite digital X-ray, EKG, and a full range of common lab tests.
The Assistant Director of Operations supports the strategic and day-to-day operational management of our network of urgent care centers. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient workflows, and operational excellence across multiple sites.

Requirements
Some responsibilities include:
- Leading both center-specific and market-wide projects to meet and exceed operational goals.
- Assisting the Patient Experience Team to maintain optimal patient satisfaction metrics, and support in service-recovery.
- Creating and maintaining center schedules and forecasting models for hiring in support of center operations.
- Managing electronic time entries, attendance, and time-off requests, to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Supporting the local teams by rearranging staff to cover “open shifts” due to sick call, patient volume and/or other unplanned events, including inclement weather.
- Participating in a rotating schedule to provide weekend operational support to centers.
- Maintaining centers, including but not limited to managing equipment, inventory, and supply invoices.
- Ensuring compliance of clinical and operational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
