ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a Sales & Support Manager to support the International Spa Association (ISPA). In partnership with the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for achieving outlined sales revenue goals including ISPA Conference and various year-round exposure opportunities. This is a customer-facing role and serves a key customer service function. This person is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with ISPA vendor members by providing timely and accurate contracted benefits and provides administrative assistance throughout the sales pipeline. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for selling a variety of exposure opportunities to ISPA’s vendor member audience. Inventory examples include print and digital advertising, exhibit booths, product sampling opportunities, etc. 
  • Assist with booth placement sales efforts and serve as the exhibitor services lead for the annual ISPA Conference. 
  • Track and monitor the sales budget to ensure goals are being met. 
  • Responsible for leading fulfillment efforts and processes for select contracted ISPA exposure opportunities. 
  • Prepare contracts and ensure invoices are properly setup by the finance department as opportunities are secured. Collect necessary assets necessary to activate respective exposure opportunities (i.e., artwork, ad files, logos, etc.).
  • Maintain an exceptional level of service with the goal of retention and year-over-year growth.
  • Help identify tools or value adds which may be helpful in increasing service and client satisfaction levels. 
  • Assist with implementation of booth placement sales efforts for the ISPA Conference along with the exhibitor outreach efforts. 
  • Research industry resource partners to identify prospective exhibitors and sponsors. 
  • The ability to identify issues, find solutions in a creative manner, and problem solve.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create new sales materials to ensure resource partners have a clear understanding of deadlines, file requirements, benefits provided, etc.  
  • Assists with content updates on experienceispa.com and attendispa.com. 
  • Correspond and properly service all clients and keep constant lines of communication open.
  • Maintain efficient client database records and manage reports of participating and nonparticipating companies for opportunities pipeline.  
  • Maintain notes for all servicing conversations and activities within Salesforce. 
  • Ensure all accounts receive a high level of customer service and work with the finance department to follow through to ensure their needs are met and expectations are surpassed. 
  • Research and recommend new ideas, changes or adjustments which would maximize advertiser return on investment and perceived value.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree
  • At least two years of professional sales or sales fulfillment experience
  • Experience communicating with a professional audience including high-profile executives 
  • Demonstrated professional, effective writing skills and polished verbal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with print and digital advertising sales and fulfillment preferred
  • Experience with event sales preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tracking tools preferred
  • Experience working with a membership-based organization or association preferred
