Responsibilities:
- Respond to all emergencies IAW organizational policies and procedures.
- Operate various emergency equipment required by the Scope of Practice.
- Inspect all emergency equipment, apparatuses, and personal protective equipment IAW organizational
policies, procedures, and manufacturers recommendations. - Conduct inspections IAW FM Global and organizational policies and procedures.
- Conduct inspections of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and associated fire protections systems IAW
organizational policies and procedures. - Assist with Public Fire Prevention and Education Programs to include but not limited to: Fire extinguisher
training and fire drills. - Participate in required training programs to meet the above certification standards. This may include
specialized training for equipment purchased to perform required duties. - Maintain all professional certifications.
Outcomes:
- Ensures all reports, documents and records are completed IAW organizational policies andprocedures.
- Properly plan, respond, mitigate and recover from multiple types of emergency situations as outlined by the
Scope of Services. - Properly inspect, maintain, and operate all provided emergency equipment IAW organizational policies,
procedures, and manufacturers recommendations. - Demonstrate professional conduct at all times.
Required Skills/Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Structural Fire Fighter 1
- Structural Fire Fighter 2
- Hazardous Materials Awareness
- Hazardous MaterialsOperations
- Texas Department of State and Health Services and/or National Registry EMT-Basic
Skills/Certifications required within the first 120 day of hire
*Successful candidates will be expected to obtain the certifications within the first 120 days of hire with the support and resources provided by the Company
- Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF)
- First Aid, AED Certification, and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Courage to Be Safe Certification
- Class B Exempt Drivers License
- National Incident Management Systems: ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800
