The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Radiology, is actively seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenured Open Rank Professor in Adult Interventional Radiology.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures in critically ill trauma and non-trauma patients. Procedures include, but are not limited to, non-coronary (incl. cerebral) angiogram, treatment of injured blood vessels by embolization and stent placements with minimal invasive percutaneous procedures, percutaneous biopsies and drainages, evaluating and reading x-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds. Other duties will include teaching and supervising residents and fellows in Interventional Radiology. Candidate must have CAQ or be CAQ eligible.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Completion of an accredited residence program. 

LICENSES: Board-certified or board-eligible. A current unrestricted licensure as a physician in Tennessee. Current certification DEA number. Eligible for malpractice insurance. Relocation is not required; however, work is on-site. Sub-certification/training is highly preferred.
