Extrusion Press Lead – 1st Shift | Schofield, WI

Crystal Finishing Systems is seeking an experienced leader to oversee aluminum extrusion press operations and ensure quality parts are produced to customer specifications.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and direct the press crew for efficient production
• Review schedules and set billet temperatures for solid and hollow extrusions
• Inspect material throughout the process and correct issues
• Perform quality checks every 5–10 billets
• Keep press running under optimal conditions and troubleshoot non-conforming issues
• Train new employees and maintain positive team relationships
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement
• Operate hand tools and measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)

Qualifications

What You Bring:

• 3–5 years of leadership experience; press operation experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and part drawings
• Skilled in using measuring tools and performing basic math
• Strong understanding of production and quality processes
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
