  • Possesses a strong knowledge of family practice and various specialties.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of vaccine and medication protocols and administration.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of emergency response protocol.
  • Well versed in RHC compliance requirements, policies, and best practices.
  • Proficient in lab specimen collection, protocols, and clinic-specific variations.
  • Possesses a broad understanding of overall clinic operations to include: workflows, staffing dynamics, and departmental roles across multiple locations.
  • Collaborates with leadership and clinic coordinators to assess staffing needs and improve overall workflow efficiency.
  • Facilitates orientation and onboarding for new staff.
  • Serves as a preceptor, guiding new hires through clinic workflows and policies.
  • Develops and implements training programs to enhance staff competency.
  • Conducts skills assessments and provides hands-on training as needed.
  • Assists staff in identifying and pursuing professional development opportunities.
  • Provides mentorship and coaching to enhance staff performance and confidence.
  • Participates in meetings focused on staff education, training, and professional development.
  • Provides feedback to leadership on assessments.
  • Demonstrates strong assessment and documentation skills.
  • Collaborates with leadership to provide constructive feedback on documentation and clinical practices for nurse/MA staff.
  • Supports quality improvement initiatives and promotes best practices.
  • Is resourceful in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Maintains open and effective communication channels across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Promotes teamwork, collaboration, and a positive work environment and fosters interdepartmental collaboration to enhance patient care and efficiency.

  • Establishes and maintains effective verbal and written communication and good working relationships with all patients, staff, and vendors.
  • Adheres to MRH attire/dress code per policies and procedures.
  • Utilizes initiative; strives to maintain a steady level of productivity; self-motivated; and manages activity and time.
  • Completes annual education, training, in-service, and licensure/certification requirements; and attends departmental and organizational staff meetings or reads meeting minutes.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Reports to work on time as scheduled; completes work within designated timeframes.
  • Actively participates in departmental and organizational performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Strives to uphold regulatory requirements to ensure continual compliance with departmental, hospital, state, and federal regulations and policies.
  • Follows policies and procedures for infection control, safety, and risk management to ensure a safe environment for patients, the public, and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions with a valid driver’s license).
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
  • Must complete employee health meeting.

Required Education/Licensure/Certification:

  • Current Colorado RN license or Compact license, required.
  • Current BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).

Experience:

  • One-year clinic experience, preferred.
  • One-year leadership or supervisory experience, preferred.
