Salary range: £44,685 - £48,003 p.a. inc. London weighting
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time

The Post
 
The AV Supervisor will oversee the delivery of audio-visual services across Brent Council, supporting events, maintaining AV systems, and supervising in house technicians, agency staff and freelancers. 
 
The role involves hands-on technical work, client liaison, and coordination of AV setups for meetings, conferences, and external events. It offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work with modern AV technologies in a dynamic environment.
 
The Person
 
The ideal candidate for the AV Supervisor role will be a technically skilled and customer-focused professional with substantial hands-on experience in AV operations, preferably within an in-house venue or AV supplier setting. They will demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, flexible approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
 
A commitment to continuous improvement, high client satisfaction, and professionalism is essential. The candidate should be confident managing full-scale event productions involving sound, lighting, and video, and capable of supervising technicians and coordinating AV services independently.
