The Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Reporting & Data Analyst within our Technology team. This role will play a critical part in driving data-driven decision-making by producing accurate reports, conducting in-depth analyses, and providing actionable insights that support portfolio performance, risk management, operational dashboards, and strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
Reporting & Dashboards
- Develop, automate, and maintain recurring financial and operational reports.
- Build dashboards to track KPIs related to originations and loan performance, customer behavior, collections, and profitability.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms.
Data Analysis
- Assist with ad-hoc analyses on portfolio trends, customer segments, and credit performance.
- Translate complex data sets into actionable insights for executives and business stakeholders.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis or reporting needs.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Operations, and Product teams to define reporting requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with teams to develop reporting or analytical insights that drive improvements in underwriting, pricing, collections, and overall portfolio performance.
Data Management & Process Improvement
- Work with data engineering to ensure data pipelines and sources are accurate and reliable.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.
- Support compliance and audit requests by ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial data.
Are You A Fit?
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s a plus) or relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in financial services, consumer lending, credit, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Familiarity with consumer finance products (e.g., personal loans, auto finance, credit cards, BNPL).
- Solid understanding of financial modeling, credit risk, and portfolio metrics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with statistical analysis (R, Python, SAS) a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in consumer finance.
- Background in credit analytics, collections strategies, or loan servicing.
