As Director of Revenue, you are the single, accountable owner of top-line revenue growth, profitability maximisation, and commercial performance across all territories for Vintage Cash Cow. This is a critical executive leadership role that drives the company's financial success in a high-growth environment.
You will define and own the overarching revenue strategy, overseeing all channel performance, pricing models, and commercial operations. This role demands a powerful blend of commercial insight, deep analytical rigor, strategic foresight, and exceptional people leadership. You will be instrumental in shaping the next stage of Vintage Cash Cow’s scaling journey.
- Define, Own, and Deliver against ambitious commercial growth targets across all revenue and profit metrics.
- Establish and Execute the end-to-end revenue management strategy, including global pricing and inventory optimization models.
- Identify and Capitalise on new business opportunities, driving both domestic and international expansion.
- Build, Develop, and Lead a high-performing, data-driven Commercial function, ensuring deep alignment across all operational teams.
- Ensure Accountability for all revenue-generating activities, driving margin expansion and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Ownership & Financial Performance
- Define and Implement the overarching commercial strategy to ensure sustainable, profitable revenue growth in alignment with executive vision and company P&L objectives.
- Own the Revenue Forecast and Budget Cycle, providing accurate, high-confidence forecasts and detailed performance reports to the Executive Team.
- Lead all Pricing Strategy and Yield Management efforts, developing complex models to optimize inventory monetisation, sell-through rates, and profit margins across diverse marketplace channels.
- Contribute as a key member of the leadership team to shape long-term strategic planning and capital allocation decisions.
Commercial & Operational Execution
- Direct the Identification and Prioritisation of new business opportunities, sales channels, and international markets, building clear execution roadmaps for expansion.
- Analyse Commercial Performance and Market Data (including competitor, customer, and macro trends) to generate robust, actionable insights that drive significant business changes.
- Monitor and Ensure Adherence to performance frameworks (OKRs) across the commercial organisation, enforcing accountability and optimising team resource deployment.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Operations, Marketplace, and Buying teams, acting as the primary revenue liaison to ensure seamless stock processing, inventory flow, and readiness for sale.
- Lead, Mentor, and Develop the Commercial team, fostering a culture of high-performance, analytical rigor, continuous improvement, and cross-functional partnership.
- Champion the Vintage Cash Cow brand both internally and externally, representing the company in strategic partner negotiations and high-stakes stakeholder discussions.
- Ensure all commercial and revenue activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards across all trading territories.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven Executive Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Management, Commercial Leadership, or Finance/FP&A, with a proven track record of managing significant P&L or revenue lines.
- Scale-Up Environment: Demonstrable success in a high-growth, high-complexity e-commerce or re-commerce/marketplace scale-up environment.
- Deep Analytical Expertise: Exceptional strategic and quantitative analysis skills, including advanced proficiency in financial modeling, statistical forecasting, and turning large datasets into clear, profitable strategies.
- Leadership: Strong track record of leading, managing, and inspiring senior commercial and cross-functional teams.
- Financial Acumen: Expertise in managing budgets, sophisticated forecasting, and utilizing performance frameworks (like OKRs).
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of CRM, inventory management systems, and business intelligence/analytics platforms.
- Global Exposure: Proven confidence working across international markets and managing commercial nuances and regulatory differences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field is required. MBA or an advanced degree is highly preferred.
