What We Offer
This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner II ready to make an impact on the business by utilize their strategic planning and analysis experience to design and proactively help keep the supply chains moving smoothly.
What You Will Do
Manage end-to-end inventory strategy for product categories including new product buys, forecasting, end-of-life product planning, E&O and inventory turns improvements
Participate in S&OP meetings within product categories to drive forecast accuracy as well as purchase order execution
In collaboration with product management, candidate will help forecast sales, margin and inventory at a category level based on changes in trend strategy or business climate.
Participate in vendor quarterly business review (QBR) to determine actions that will optimize forecast, sales and gross margins
Develop and provide appropriate business analysis to influence future purchases and assortment strategies
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with product management, sales, sourcing, Supply Chain, and vendors to enable successful business strategies and flawless execution
Drive item planning and forecasting for ordering, allocation and cross-functional need
Drive vendor performance improvements including production schedules, quality and test reviews, costs, and on-time delivery
Manage category planning operations, including critical deadlines, coding, and product lead-times
Who You Are and What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years in demand planning/allocation, buying, and sourcing preferred
Experience with inventory management, IT systems, product pipeline and PLM process design
Strong financial acumen and experience in presenting data and analysis, strong MS Excel skills required
Previous experience working with electronics contract manufacturers preferred
Previous experience working with MRP systems, NetSuite and Demand Works (Smoothie) experience preferred
Lead or support a collaborative work environment within product management, sales and sourcing focused on distinctive products and an engaged customer experience
Strong communication skills within team and department; work consistency and accuracy
Aptitude for spreadsheets and planning tools
Proven ability to work with attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to work independently with strong focus on project execution with minimal supervision

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $61,500 – $96,500. Pay ranges are determined by role, job level and primary job location. The range displayed reflects the reasonable range we anticipate paying for this position and reflects the cost of labor within several U.S. geographic markets. The specific salary offered within the range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to the candidate’s relevant and prior experience, education, skills, and primary work location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each position. Pay ranges are typically reviewed and updated annually.
