Position: On Site Tech Engineer

Location: Monroe, NY

Department: Service Delivery

 

We’re growing and looking for a On Site Tech Engineer who’s not only technically sound, but also thrives in building relationships, solving problems, and being the trusted face of My IT Crew onsite.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary technical resource, stationed directly at the client’s location.
  • Provide day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Collaborate with the client’s staff to understand and address their technical needs in real time.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and maintenance of IT systems as required.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the internal support team when needed.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering timely, professional, and efficient support.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and client feedback.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the company, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.



What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of Windows-based IT support experience
  • One or more of the following certifications: 
      - CompTIA Security+ 
      - CompTIA Network+ 
      - Microsoft Modern Desktop 
      - Microsoft 365 Administrator
  • Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients onsite.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, documentation practices, and IT service management tools.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to client needs and handle both routine and urgent issues.
