Responsible for the regular delivery, distribution, pick-up, loading, unloading, sorting, transferring and storage of medical equipment, furniture and other assets. Supports communication and coordination aligned with service excellence requirements. Assists with other Logistics and Fleet Management functions as needed.
Essential Functions
- Operates all required vehicles in performance of delivery and pick - up of medical equipment and other assets. Develops and maintains regular delivery and pick - up routes. Performs regular inspections of vehicles and equipment, notifying supervisor whenever appropriate. Performs general cleaning and minor equipment/vehicle maintenance as required. Assists with the Preventative Maintenance of the Supply Chain equipment, trucks, including the forklifts and all pallet jacks.
- Unloads, sorts, and stores equipment, supplies and materials properly as directed. Organizes the racks, receives deliveries from vendors at the dock in Logistics
- Provides support of shipping and receiving supply chain department. Completes the required documentation for shipping and receiving.
- High School Diploma or GED - Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver License Must have a clean driving record. Must: Be at least 21 years of age Provide a current and valid Arizona driver's license Provide a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the Department of Motor Vehicles for a 3 year period that has been approved in advance by an insurance carrier - Required
- Provide current certificate of completion of the National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course-4 (DDC-4) or successfully - Preferred
