PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
To be the visual/physical/responsive presence on campus during shift.
To provide a safe and secure environment for our residents and employees.
To act as the first response to all emergencies on campus during the hours of 6pm-6 am daily
Provide set-up and breakdown of banquet rooms tables and chairs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Required to pass a background check
Possess a high school diploma/GED;
Willing to work a flexible schedule (including weekends)
Desire to work with seniors
Must possess team spirit, good character, and personal integrity.
PARTIAL LIST OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To always maintain a presence of response/assistance/knowledge on the campus.
- Respond to resident issues and emergencies as the “first response” promptly and effectively.
- To follow the security rounds schedule (printed separately) – understanding it may change as needed.
- To be always available by cell phone or in person for “first response” to emergency issues
- To use appropriate judgment to call police, fire, EMS as indicated.
- Make scheduled rounds of the campus to include Edwards Ave, Williamsburg Condo, Cottage Apartment Buildings, Garden Apartment Buildings, Assisted Living Facility, Courtyard Suites and all common areas.
- Deliver medications, notices, and other such items as directed by administration to the residents of the Village.
- Assist in the opening and closing of the swimming pool and Wellness Center as outlined.
- Occasional use of pool chemicals may be assigned.
- Routine may change with the change of seasons.
