PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Coordinate RFQs, quotations, sample requests, and order-processing activities to ensure timely and accurate execution across domestic and international sourcing efforts.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Prepare, organize, and distribute sourcing documents, including RFQs, quotations, and purchase orders - proactively gathering external inputs and coordinating internal approvals to reduce turnaround time.
  • Facilitate order-processing details with internal departments and external partners to finalize item and artwork specifications
  • Organize, track and log samples, quotes, orders, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain key sourcing tools, including pricing databases and product specification records, to ensure accurate and efficient quoting.
  • Compile comparison reports of partner quotes to support strategic sourcing decisions and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support sourcing and logistics teams by preparing reports, managing documentation, and assisting with day-to-day vendor communications.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

Pursuing degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and data management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data to support sourcing and logistics activities. Experience in procurement or supply chain is a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to write and speak clearly in English; a secondary language is a plus.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide both fractions and decimals, solve equations, read measurements. Use formulas to calculate and analyze data.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with arms and hands. Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds. A person must be able to perform these functions for a minimum of 8 hours straight (with any applicable breaks during day) on a regular basis. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Normal office environment with occasional visits to plant facilities. Travel required utilizing air and/or vehicle travel. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate international supplier communications.
