Job Summary:

Coordinates and participates in the successful implementation, integration, maintenance, training, and ongoing support for computer programs affecting both direct patient care processes and the daily operations of students, faculty, clinicians, and/or caregivers. Manages the successful use of selected clinical data systems to include clinical data management, electronic capture, and event reporting.

 Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year of experience in supply chain operations or data management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of clinical operations, computers, and related software applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact diplomatically with individuals from diverse backgrounds.. Skilled in analysis, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and project management. Able to collect and analyze data, prepare reports, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain collaborative working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the documentation, testing, implementation, validation, and utilization of systems and processes within a specified area. Implements data management procedures compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Applies project planning and project management methodologies for assigned projects. Develops customized reports.
  • Defines and documents user requirements. Advises, trains, and assists faculty, staff, and students with new processes/functionality and the use of applications, tools, and reporting software.
  • Coordinates with vendors, key users, and technical staff to identify integration requirements and the impact of software upgrades on those requirements. Analyzes data flows and develops and implements integration plans to improve data integrity and improve process flows.
  • Interfaces with information systems and/or outside vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system and software problems and to evaluate future requirements.
  • Audits data entered by students and clinicians. Ensures the consistent implementation of regulations, policies, procedures, data standards, data coding, and optimization plans for assigned areas.
