Assistant Estimator – Landscape Construction (GP) at HireVenture

HV Talent Group is partnering with a well-established Landscape Construction company with over 40 years of experience serving the Massachusetts market. We are seeking an Assistant Estimator to join their team in Framingham, MA. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail and interest in landscape construction to support the estimating process, learn from experienced professionals, and grow over time. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist in preparing cost estimates by reviewing landscape plans, specifications, and submittals. 
• Support the development of proposals and bid documentation. 
• Help track project bids and maintain accurate estimating records. 
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and team members to gather pricing and project details. 
• Provide administrative support for project closeout materials and documentation. 
• Use software tools (Excel, Bluebeam, Bid2Win, Verdi Graph, Word) to support estimating functions. 

Qualifications 

• 2–5 years of related experience in landscape construction, estimating, or project coordination (preferred). 
• Familiarity with landscape plans, plant materials, and construction products. 
• Proficiency with Excel; exposure to Bluebeam, Bid2Win, Verdi Graph, and Microsoft Word a plus. 
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities. 
• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
