About the Role

The PR & Social Media Manager (All Brands) will play a key role on our US marketing team. You will be accountable for the planning and implementation of multi-channel brand strategies to drive profitable growth in our portfolio of dairy-free products. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in tapping into culture, strategic thinking, creative development, project management, and execution excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be working closely with the integrated agency team on the brand’s Creative, PR, social media, Shopper Marketing, and Paid Media strategies and activities. In addition, you will collaborate with the broader US and global marketing team to develop and drive integrated go-to-market plans.

This position will have one direct report.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead earned and owned media activations across the U.S. market, driving brand visibility and engagement.
  • Own and execute “Big Bet” brand activations across PR, organic and paid social media, and strategic partnerships—including influencers, entertainment properties, and more.
  • Leverage cultural insights and social listening tools to proactively and reactively insert the brand into relevant cultural moments in real time.
  • Drive a test-and-learn marketing agenda, measuring resource efficiency and effectiveness across awareness, trial, and conversion metrics.
  • Execute impactful IRL activations—from cultural events and in-store experiences to food service and digital campaigns—as powerful brand-building vehicles.
  • Engage directly with digital communities, managing social platforms, influencer relationships, and partner outreach to build a passionate, cult-like fan base.
  • Manage activation budgets, ensuring ongoing efficiency and optimization of working vs. non-working spend in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Oversee influencer and creator relationships, including sourcing, onboarding, and guiding content development aligned with brand messaging and audience strategy.
  • Develop compelling marketing narratives and performance insights to support the Flora sales team in customer sell-in efforts.
  • Support brand planning by providing actionable recommendations on what to start, stop, and continue based on campaign performance.
  • Ensure compliance across all marketing materials and communications, working closely with legal and regulatory teams.
  • Coach and mentor a direct report, helping them grow into an increasingly independent and impactful contributor.

About You

  • You bring 4+ years of experience in PR and social media, ideally within brand management or fast-paced start-up environments in the food or consumer goods space.
  • You have a trailblazing mindset—driven, entrepreneurial, and creatively fearless, always ready to take initiative from Day 1.
  • You’re a lifelong learner, curious and growth-oriented, constantly seeking new ways to improve and innovate.
  • You’re passionate about social media trends, creators, and algorithms, with a strong focus on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
  • You think consumer-first, with an insurgent spirit and a knack for out-of-the-box ideas that challenge the norm.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments, maintaining poise and adaptability under pressure.
  • You combine analytical thinking with strategic insight, using data to inform decisions and uncover opportunities.
  • You’re highly organized, with disciplined project management skills and a sharp attention to detail.
  • You’re proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and comfortable presenting ideas and results clearly.
  • You have experience in the U.S. market and understand its unique dynamics and consumer behaviors.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • You’re open to travel as needed to support brand initiatives and activations.
  • Above all, you’re inspired by the vision of a better future—one where delicious, animal-free cheese is the norm.
